Paca Stacker began as theory in 2008 by Elegante Vellon Alpacas. Today with the help and (partnership) of Ellen Gurewitz the original developer of AlpacaEASE/ HerdEASE our industry has an invaluable tool that will simplify and magnify the way we breed alpacas. Paca Stacker can be purchased as a stand alone or (add on) for existing users of AlpacaEASE / HerdEASE.
CORE OBJECTIVE: Paca Stacker is a software tool primarily for use in camelids both Huacaya and Suri to help breeders rank or (stack) single or multiple herd quality traits. Within moments of your data being entered these traits will stack in the order of alpaca quality within ones own herd.
Default (measurable) traits along with custom options will help breeders tailor design each Paca Stacker simply by clicking on or off each attribute allowing you the individual freedom of expression to create consistent excellence.
Categories may include yet are not limited to: Type, Sex, Age, Color, Proven, Unproven, Histogram Data, Shearing Stats, Wean Weights, Show Awards, Past Offspring Qualities, Density, Staple Length, Luster, Lock QUality, Conformation, Size, Head Coverage etc. In time every conceivable attribute for an alpaca that is important to you as a breeder can and will be added to the Paca Stacker.
Once those measurable and in many cases numerically ranked objective traits are entered into the database, the stacker will quickly and easily rank, prioritize or (stack) each alpaca in order of herd quality for that particular trait(s).
